Hi

I also have PCOS and only got pregnant when I stopped every treatment and decided that I am taking a few months just to recover from everything.

Stress can be a huge factor for us with PCOS. Sometimes the treatment is not as effective as just a little relaxation.

I stopped everything in October and by end November I was pregnant - I am now due in the next week.

Good luck!

Hi MsR, I only saw this reply now - over a year later!

I started using PregnaCare for a little while and then stopped taking it. I ended up falling pregnant naturally in October 2014 and my little one turns 1 this coming Sunday :)

Hi Nixy,

I know how you feel. I was put on clomid and now my cycles last for as long as a month straight. Not fun either. I have found this site really helpful in getting info from people who are further along than I am in the process (we've been trying for two years and saw Drs. for a year. Just moved and not seeing anyone right now): fertility.org/media/categories/fertility-videos.2/

I will say if you are still going to a OBGYN, switch to a well recommended fertility Specialist. Worth the money. They seem to know so much more and move things along with different tests, etc. faster. Good luck to you!

Hi everybody!

I am 21 years old and I was diagnosed with PCOS in September 2013. I've been in a serious relationship for about 2 and a half years.

I've never really had irregular periods - maybe just 1 or 2 days out and lasting for about 7 days at most. I went to the gynae in September as things weren't right... had tests done and was told I have PCOS.

The gynae also told me that if I want to have children, that I'd need to do it sooner rather than later and she put me onto the pill Yaz, for 6 months.

March 6th 2014 was the last I've seen of my period. I stopped the pill at the end of March, had some very strange light spotting and no sign of my period whatsoever. I am still waiting for it.

I did a pregnancy test on 12th April and it was negative. :(

I have NO idea what's going on - besides having odd symptoms like extremely sore and tingly nipples and a few other symptoms. I'm super scared to take another pregnancy test and have it show negative again as we really do want to have a baby.

That's my story (sorry for not knowing the pregnancy lingo!)

x
