I hope your LO gets better soon,that must be terrible for a 5 month old.
Has she been diagnosed? I thought my LG had chickenpox but it was diagnosed as a viral rash from teething.

O yes, to make it easier on both of you to sleep at night. Give her allergex syrup, also helps to calm the itching.

Sorry to hear about the chicken pox. Normally it takes about 14 days for it to clear completely. It will be safe for her to get in contact with other kids as soon as the spots have dissapeared. Be very carefull that she does not get any draufts on her unnecessary.

Good luck and use the camomile lotion, it really helps. Watch out for bubble baths, it tend to let it itch more. Try and through two table spoons of "koeksoda" not sure how to spell in english, sorry, in her bath, this will make the water nice and soft on her skin and will also help to ease the itching, not take it away completely, but ease it. Also be carefull with baby powder, tends to dry the skin and worsens the itching. Use none cented aques cream after her bath and then apply the camomile lotion.

my lg is now 5 and started on Sunday with chickenpox - no fever..
only a few - maybe 20 and same the next day and so on. the few she got on sunday has already started clearing up but still getting new ones - is that normal ?
how long before they stop coming out ?
when is she not contagious anymore ?
