flowergirl, thinking of you too! 3 infections in 2 months...that's rough! Hope they find an answer for you too.

The worst part for me is that the child psychologist said that she will likely experience all the pain she has experienced with bladderinfections and the surgery similiar to sexual abuse. Because the pain is located in her private parts they can't really distinguish between what is what. This really broke my heart. We have worked so hard to get her over the trauma of the surgery.

Hopefully the problem can solved with minimal invasion. Really hoping for that.

Oh no, so sorry to hear :(

That really sucks!!!

Bladder infections are NO JOKE (I actually have an appointment at 3PM today as I am fighting my 3rd bladder infection in 2 months)....

Really hope it gets sorted out soon, what a horrible thing for a little girl to go through :(

My Little girl (3,5 years now) has been diagnosed the begining of this year with a bladder abnormality. She had a very big operation in January this year to fix the problem. They had to re-implant the tube that goes from the kidney to the bladder by cutting open the entire bladder. It was a big operation and very traumatic for all of us. She did a follow up test to see if the operation was successful. The tests seemed very positive and the doctor was confident that it was a success.

Sigh.....

My little girl was just diagnosed with her second bladder infection in the past 2 months. This means that obviously something is still wrong!! I don't really have words for my dissapointment. It took us so long to get over the trauma of the hospital etc that I just want to cry to think we have to go through it again.

We are seeing the Urologist on monday to hear what she says.

We were under the impression that she is "fine" and that all is well so that we can put everything behind us.

My husband and I were planning to have a second child soon, but now we feel again that it isn't wise to do so because of the uncertainty of my little girls health.

I just needed to get it of my chest, thank you ladies. xx
