Im also from Plattekloof Glen. When I looked for riding schools I could not find anything close. They all seem to be closer to the outskirts of Cape Town. I settled on Milnerton Riding School. It takes about 15 min driving using the highway. A little longer going along Giel Basson and Plattekloof.

Just sucks having to take koeberg and plattekloof roads.

Try Equine sport centre +27 71 597 2546 ( www.equinesportcentre.co.za/ ) its on 1 of the roads towards Stellenbosch. LESSONS: We offer lessons from all ages ranging from beginner to novice. The riding school is open from Monday to Friday starting at 9am until 4:30pm. Our horses are well tempered and rider friendly. We cater mostly for pleasure riding and will teach basic Dressage and Jumping, but we are not a competitive school. Price: R350 per month for 30min lessons once per week or R550 per month for 1 hour lessons once per week.The owner is Elaine (my kids godmother) and you can say Charlotte referred you.

Milnerton Riding school gives lead rein lessons for under 5 year olds at a good price. I am not sure if your daughter is still young enough for those.

There is also Camelot Riding School and Green Acres Rding school. But I know nothing of these two.
