my son is a Threenager! love the word lol. he was born 8 June 2007
We have been through this stage with my daughter so I know what to expect. it is more difficult for me than age 2 I must say and then again much easier too. each age has its perks I suppose.

Hi elaine - what a cutie (and love their uniform).

My 2 are in preschool in the mornings and i fetch them at 12.30. I am a sahm/wahm so the mornings give me time to do what I need uninterrupted and then the afternoons are with them.

Hi mommies

Do your Threenagers go to preschool or do they stay with you?

I work full time so Amy has been going to daycare, but she has just started at a new kindergarten. The new semester here starts in September, so in 2 weeks she will be going into K1.

Here she is in her school "uniform", it's actually school sportswear, they wear it on Tuesdays and for outings. They are on an outing to the zoo today.

Hi

I have a 3 year old little boy born in March 2007, and going to have another baby next month :)

I love him to bits and he is a very busy body so I have been very active during this pregnancy all by just trying to keep up with him :)

He is very perceptive and can remember things we said or did LONG after they happened which is most impressive to me since I probably forgot about that the very same day.
There are days when I feel like really screaming but when I look at his little face my heart melts and he all he gets is a warning
I am very anxious to see his reaction to meeting his little sister very soon ...he is very protective over me (and her) already.

Hi there! I have a Threenager as well.

Ju-Andre was born in July 2007.

He can really really let the steam come out of my ears if he have the change, but his lovingness and caring personality makes up for it!

He is a charming little boy, who loves hugging & kissing, and he LOVES his little sister!

He can play on his own for long stretches, but if he gets the sligtest idea that we are giving Annelien more attention than him, he will start being a child who can not do this or that alone! Which is understandable, I guess.

I am enjoying every second of his Threenager years and wouldn't change it for everything in the world!

"Goodbye Babyhood, Hello Childhood"

While rearing a child at any age is no snap, things should get easier during the third year. Most 3-year-olds can be reasoned with. They will take turns and may even share toys. A child in this age group will help the parents get him or her dressed. Most are toilet trained during the day, although it is common for an occasional "accident" while busy playing. In previous generations, moms and dads learned what to expect of their child from their mother, grandmother or another family member. Today, most families are so scattered that parents do not have this help available. Therefore, do not hesitante to ask any questions you might have about your child's growth and development during the three year checkup. This is the reason for regular well-child exams.
