I just found out that I am pregnat for the second time and I dont have a medical aid can you maybe email me the adress of the medical aid that took you on because I dont know how to get the adress. Do you think they will cover me. Please reply

when was this? i moved here from the UK last year , like a fool didnt get medical aid then kept putting it off every month , few days ago realised that i am pregnant ( about 4 weeks) and from what i looked on most web sites no one signes up a pregnant lady without 12 month waiting period.

Try MOMENTUM HEALTH, they took me on when I was preggies and they paid for EVERYTHING.

12 Gynae visits
2 Paed visits
2 3d-scans
Urine and Blood test were taken from the Medical Savings (I think)
They paid for the birth (Ceasar) at a private hospital
The Aneathetist and the Paed to be present. No questions, No arguments, paid within 7 days of the invoices being raised!

If she cant come right with a ma. George and Oudtshoorn both have good provincial hospitals. I myself went to George 2 months ago for a dnc.

But she must try ma, maby because she relocated from another country a ma will help her. Best to contact a broker.

Oh bummer. I thought I read on here there were some that still did. She's based in Beaufort W so I dunno what the govt hospital is like there but will tell her to have a look into it. Thanks ladies.

As far as I know none,she just have to use public services,they are not that bad especilly if she makes a proper homework to which ones are good
