Thanks for the advice MommyN but I already have a LB of 1yr and 9months. So the difference between my LB and LG is 1 and 1/2 years. We always planned to only have 2 and I do have a Nova T inserted. It is 99.9% effective but I will be the 0.1% LOL!! I do think that the eglynol that I drank might have had an effect on my cycles. I have been having lower abdominal pain the last 2 days and I my breasts are sensitive. Hope to see AF soon! Never though I would be so anxious to see her :P !

Go for a blood test... its the best. My GP said the only time a home test is accurate is when it is showing a positive result LOL

I was exclusively breastfeeding and at 6,5 months fell pregnant. Did a test when I was about 2 weeks late and another one a week later... all negative. Didnt feel pregnant really. Although I got my AFs from 6 weeks after natural birth and was regalur even when breastfeeding.

Found out I was pregnant at 18 weeks... with a blood test eventually!

For me I was happy, we had tried for 3 years to have LG, and I am 36 yrs old and hubby 46, so happy to have the kids close together now.

Good luck! I know stress will defnitely delay it!

Thanks for the advice ladies. I took a HPT and luckily it was negative. So it must be something else. I am not breastfeeding anymore, so that was why I was so worried. I will give it another week and if AF does not arrive I will go and see the doc. I am used to regular cycles of about 28 - 30 days. Even after having my LB and LG my cycles returned to normal quite quick.

How many regular cycles have you had? Maybe your body is still adjusting after having your baby and your cycles not back to normal?
Like klk says, if you're breastfeeding your cycles will be erratic if they return and you still breastfeed.

I agree with the other ladies. Just do a test, that will put your mind at ease.

If you are still BF then that could also mess with your cycles.

Hi Kangomom,

I hate to add to your stress but I am one of the unfortunates who fell pregnant with the copper T, I do not use tampons so am not able to give you clarity on that.. Do a test it's the only way you will know for sure..

I am now 29weeks pregnant and expecting number 3, my baby daughter is now 20 months so finding out I am pregnant again was really not easy for me to accept but gets easier..

I wish you luck with whatever the outcome is..

ps..Stress can stop AF....

Kangomom, I don't know where a copper T is inserted, but I do know that most loops are inside your uterus. So I don't see how a tampon in your vagina can possibly move your copper T inside your uterus, there is a cerviks between them and it doesn't just let stuff in...

So I agree with Julz, do a pregnancy test and if its not that, then stop stressing about being pregnant. Its most likely something else (like stress) cauzing the missing AF.
