Breast Pumps - Please give Advise and Opinions

I have the Avent electrical one, its an old one, my sister bought it with her first (now 5 years old) and its stunning.

I think its a good investement, but just remember breastmilk can't be frozen for more than 3 months, so use it as you go along instead of trying to build up a supply for months after you stop feeding.

I used an Avent Manual Pump for both my children and it worked fantastically! I bought it over 6 years ago so I really can't remember the price. If you intend to express it is really a good investment. Formula is so expensive and it will pay for it self in no time at all!

Never heard of the Ena Multi Electric Breast pump but can't say that I have been looking around!

I once borrowed a friends electric pump but did not find it very useful (just my opinion) I would highly recommend the Avent Manual, quick easy and compact!

Yip also an Avent manual pump fan. Can't remember how much it cost as I got it over 3 years ago! But it is fabulous and I am now using it for baby no 2.

Hi ladies.

I'm expecting my third baby (and last) and have never used a breast pump before. I've breast fed both my children and didn't ever think I needed it.
But now... I'm thinking that I always have so much milk, so perhaps this time round I should invest in a breast pump and pump out milk inbetween feedings as well?? It can be frozen and used later on, say if my milk becomes less or baby goes off the breast and I will save on buying formula then.

Please could you give your opinions and experience on a good, but not very expensive breast pump?
It doesn't have to be electric if you think a manual pump does the same thing.

And do you think it is worth the money to get one for expressing?

PS. I see there is a new Ena Multi Electric Breast pump for R499. Does anyone know it and used it maybe?
