SexyHexy- i am by no means trying to scare you, these cases are so extremely rare and chances are you will have same sex identicals (i just hope LG's!!!!! LOL) but it is interesting to learn about and i do think very few people actually understand how multiples work (i was one before i also fell pregnant with twins)

what they say for those who didn't see the article is that boy/girl identical twins (1 placenta, 1 sac) is the result of turners syndrome which is a chromosomal abnormality where the boy XY can drop the Y and just become an X, it happens in 1 in every 2500 babies (not always twins) but that the girl will possibly have ovarian function problems and basically be a version of hermaphrodite because it was originally conceived by a male sperm.

very sad but they do only report to have 10 cases in the whole of the US so it is extremely rare.

Thanks for that info Vix....stuff like that is a reality, and we need to know about it. But you know what, being pregnant with twins, I just want them healthy. God will give us what He thinks we need, boy/boy or girl/girl Or even maybe boy/girl....with Him nothing is impossible

Chris - Your babies are adorable. I also can't believe that you carrying 3 babies and your tummy is so tiny. I am already at the size that I was when Thashreya was born. I am dreading how big I am going to be when baby is ready to be born.

SexyHexy - At the 4d scan they will definetly be able to tell you the genders. I got to find out Thashreya genders when I was 14 weeks pregnant with her.

Chris, I will have to settle for the 3D...the 4D place only does it from 28weeks...and for now I just wanna know the sexes LOL
