what an interesting day it was today. woke up decided i will get a scan somewhere to check how far i am. i am a rep in a radiology division but not for sonar, but i have contacts in the lab.
i end up going to day and the radiographer says i'm not pregnant, i have a ruptured left ovary and a thick uterine lining which mean si will be getting my period. i then proceded to ask her to explain high temperatures, missed period, 2 positive pregnancy tests and nausea.
mmmm.
she got a radiologist in and she saw two little black sacs, but couldn't see in them.
so, either this is what is happening:
1- very early pregnancy (3/4 weeks)singleton
2- very ealry pregnancy twins
3- uterine cyst & early pregnancy
4- 2 uterine cysts
then i went to have a blood test. i chose to have the one that gives the hcg reading that tells you how far you are. pathcare can only take a reading here if the pregnancy is 6 weeks or less, otherwise they have to send it away for more screening to get accurate levels.
i waited the 45 mins.
it turns out that i am pregnant YAYAYAYAYAY! and levels are too high for them to read, so they were sent off.
this makes me think, there is no way that i am 6-8 weeks pregnant. that's too far along. this is my 3rd kid and impossible that i missed the signs for that long.
so, i am wondering about being very early with the possibility of twins - could that be making my levels so much higher? i'll get my results tomorrow morning.
hectic times

anyone had twinnies here???
