TaNasha, sounds like dutch women are tough, But i hear what you are saying. I also want to have the option of a c-section without judgement should I decide the pain is unbearable.

My day started with a cup of coffee. I had too. I couldn't take it anymore. Haven't had a decent night's sleep this whole week. It's becoming so uncomfortable! But on the bright side, the baby gave me a whole lot of kicks this morning as i was laying there about to cry this from the exhaustion.

I would really love to have a c-sec, as i dont really trust the midwives here. - 95% of dutch women here give birth at home!
But they dont have elective c-secs here, so i was considering coming to SA, but DH thinks im crazy. I dont mind pushing but i am so scared that something will go wrong.

Esmari they may sterilise you if you request and your DH co-signs. they are not keen on 4 caesars so it may not be difficult to persuade them!
as for cutting off the excess skin...They would in private as you are paying. But I think in government they may just laugh at you - but you can always ask! If you have a nice surgeon, he may just do it for you anyway!

It's been hard gal, i tied my tummy after 2 weeks of C-section, i had to wait for the scar's i neva wanted to go back to the hospital for sticthing.

and u must tie just on the belly not below as it will damage the stiches. u will see after 3 months u'll see the difference. i didn't use those expensive belt, just my baby's receiving blanket soft and good to use

u sharing with my baby, we must have a HUGE cake on the 24th Aug

that pain will go away my friend, just after 3months / 12 weeks u will see. just make sure u enjoy your preggy, this is one of the beautifullest moments, greatest experience inthe whole wide world. i want to do it again but once my Moomo is 4 to 5 years

Thank you, i have been lucky, no morning sickness yet, a lot of craving and a lot of pain, is this normal? I heard it could be my uterus, please help, it comes and goes, and it's sore, feels like pulling, and other times sharp quick pains, and like a stitch....

Lerato, how did you manage to tie anything after a c-section? I've always been told it's impossible if you had a c-section cause of the scar, in fact that's one of the biggest reasons why i wanna go the natural route, for the quick recovery. PS: Your lg and i share a Bday!

Esmari, I always say after i have my last child i'm gonna have things snipped and tucked!
