Sorry for being MIA...

I am doing okay! Bleeding hasnt stopped but it's lighter today!

No real Pregnancy symptoms - just a splitting headache since yesterday, and real bad heartburn!

Solo, my symptoms were also much worse from around 16:00. Even when I thought it was over, I would still feel icky from late afternoon. I find nothing "scientific" about the whole feeling cold thing, but numerous accounts of it on pregnancy forums. It seems it is a first trimester thing. With me it was better before the end of the 1st trimester.

Wow, that's Interesting Claire and Rakker. I never thought feeling so cold was part and parcel of being preggy. How long does it last? Yep, I am getting some strange looks! Today I wore two jerseys in the office!!
I am seeing a pattern now with ms. I'm a bit queasy in the mornings after breakfast, then it passes and I feel fine until about 2ish, then by 4pm I'm feeling very nauseous - so much so that I can't eat dinner. All my symptoms seem to be worse at night. All I want to do when I get home is crawl into bed to ease my aching and cold body. How delightful!!
I'm still very weepy and irritable, sometimes both at the same time -scary stuff!!

Weeskind - ignore your boss, it's not worth it. Pray for strength to cope until you become a SAHM. Not long now...
How wonderful for you to look after your sister's twins - no wonder you want twins. Shall root for twins for both you and Sunrise!!

Sunrise I'm seeing my gynae next Tuesday 16th Nov at 5pm. Will have my first scan. I'll be 6 weeks and 5 days.

Hi all! SO hectic at work, so I hardly ever get time to really read what everyone said. So, I won't really do personals this time. Just for a few that I can remember:

Solo, the feeling cold is actually quite common in the beginning stages. I also had it this time and the people thought I was sick or mad, wearing a jersey in the heat. I didn't have it with my first pregnancy, so when it happened, I googled it immediately and got that info.

Claire, can't wait for you to find out the gender of your LO. You will probably be the first to know. I will only know in 2 weeks time. Feels like forever. I am thinking of taking my mom along. In her days they didn't have the sonar technology that we have and she also never saw a sonar of any of her grand children. As this is probably her last, I thought it would be nice to have her there, especially as we will hopefully determine the gender.

Just a general comment to all of you suffering from MS. I know it doesn't help to hear "it will pass soon", because it didn't help for me. Just hold on some more and one day you will just realise that it is actually gone. And then you will start enjoying your pregnancies so much more.

Phillipa - yeah he is a beagle, our 2nd one we have a basset down the road and he is too cute. I have a softness for hounds lol. are twins on your mom's side?
