@Ankia: Morning Gosh, twins is a big question in our family... I would love to have twin, dream about it quiet often. A friend of mine Mel, she works at Peek-a-babe and her prices are wonderful for a visual scan...

I just found out now, I mean I'm a newbee at this...

Everyone gives you the list of pros and cons per pregnancy... Foods, hair dye, garden gloves, cat litter etc...

But no one told me that scans are bad too. That as much as I wanted to go for as many check ups I can't. I didn't know that... at all! only 3-4 scans per pregnancy? WOW... cause I was still in shock when i heard my medical aid only pays for 2..

Or am I talking a load of nonsense and it's not that bad?

Please enlighten me, I am still so confused...

Candi, a twin can be behind the other baba and can not be picked up (sometimes) so just make sure they double check.

I am super excited, because this is my second baby, I will not just run to the gynie for a scan, so I have book my 8 week scan with Maryke at Genesis on the 5th of Feb, and she said that I do not neet to see a gynie until 34 weeks, which is great - I have a dislike in gynies
Maryke said she can do the 12 week scan and the big 20 week scan, and she will write a report, that I can keep with my midwife.
She only askes R200 for the 8 week scan.

I have also book an appointment with my midwife when i am 16 weeks, so I am super excited.

My medical aid only pays for 2 scans, so it is nice that I can go to Maryke and do the scan and only pay R200 and not for the scan and gynie fee and all the rest.

Hi Candi!! I am so scared I get full on MS.. I had it with my first and lost 10kgs in the first trimester.. I am only just over 5 weeks now and remember it setting in at about 7 weeks so thinking positive!!

Im not sure about your question will have a think..

Touch wood - I had a chicken burger last night [fine it did take an hour to eat], and this morning no nargh... so lets me try eat something else and get some food food in my system...

Where is everyone???

I had a HCG done yesterday at 5 weeks 1 day and it is 3800 which is nicely up from Friday which was 300 odd. My progesterone has decreased which is going to need supplementing. I am waiting to hear from the gynie..

DUE TO BRAIN MALFUNCTION:

Forgetfulness - aka - ME!

I check the house at least 3 times when I leave
I check up on my car after about 5 minutes walking away from it
I unpack my handbag in the mornings to make sure I have everything
I never keep track of my weekend visits, people rock up at the house and I forgot they visiting...
Big time forgetting, but that me...

My biggest problem is being distracted!!!! BIG TIME DISTRACTED!!
