What was you BP, if it is only high once, then it should not be a problem, it was not high yesterday?? - just remember stress can also make your bp high.
it is strange that they say your baby is tall, as you are not tall at all
Lets wait and see what the doc say tomorrow

Ankia good luck with the sick LO.

So I am back from my midwife and dont really have any news, she did an internal, but I am still completely closed. She said she will try a stretch and sweep on Tuesday. My BP is abit high though, so she has sent me through to a gynea (different one from yesterday- yay!) tomorrow. She also said that the baby is very tall which is where all the weight must be coming from, that makes me feel abit better. It is abit strange though that she is tall as Im only 1,66m and DH is something like 1,75?

I am doing fine, William is getting sick so I am trying to doctor him at home, but it does not seem te help, he is not getting better, so I have to make a decision and see how he is doing tomorrow and make an appointment for him. It is our Doctor's day off today

I am also seeing my back up doctor tomorrow, hope she does a scan

So i have calmed down, i slept and cried the whole afternoon, but now I feel better. I think maybe just my hormones went abit crazy aswell?

Candi I am not sure about a price difference, but here in NL you dont really have a choice- you have to have a natural birth unless there is a medical reason not too, so no elective c-sections, otherwise I would have paid someone to cut this little monster out NOW!

Evening Primrose oil is supposed to help soften and ripen your cervix and rasberry leaf capsules tones the muscles of your uterus which is supposed to help labour go faster and make contractions stronger and its supposed to be good for after birth and help with milk supply.

Ankia & TaNasha... ok, I'm a little confused... The evening primrose capsules.... ok, drink them 3 times a day... is this supposed to happen before like I can start taking them now... and the otherway in, is that suppose to help soften the cervix? And How does the raspberry leave tab work/help?

I found a place that sells the raspberry leave tab... must just wait for the moola to come thru so I can so get some... it's R70 for 30...

Me: I'm happy/sad/emotional/crazy/loosing it.... about the whole induction thing...

I don't know what to do... I guess i'm gonna wait to hear what the doc has to say on Monday....

TaNasha - man, I am sorry you are feeling so down It must be so frustrating that they won't do anything for another 2 weeks! Holding thumbs that the scans are out! Have a good cry/sulk and you will feel better tomorrow I'm sure.

Laliek - you must be so nervous and excited all at the same time! Hope you have a wonderful birthing experience and looking forward to the updates. Hope you get some sleep tonight
