Morning all!

Hapi - I'll be doing exactly the same thing as ankia - wooden cot in his room for during the day and camp cot in our room at night for the first 4 - 6 months. Both are being lent to me so didn't have to consider cost luckily. But otherwise I would have gone second hand for both. Gumtree really is worth checking out...usually loads of cots and camp cots for sale. You could possibly consider second hand wooden cots and then get new camp cots? But space is probably also a consideration with twins! All twice as complicated for you

Have my midwife appointment tomorrow morning...Yay! Can't wait to hear the heartbeat again! Felt lots of movement yesterday! DH even got to feel one kick - was just pure luck that as he put his hand on my tummy LO kicked the hardest he has yet. Then spent ages trying to feel more but they were too soft again.

To be honest I really prefer the wooden cot but a camp cot has its advantages as well. Another consideration would be the price, camp cots are generally cheaper and I can get 2 camp cots at the price of one wooden cot. I know that initially I do not need two cots as the girls will sleep together but I will need a second one eventually. decisions decisions

I also want us to be very careful with money and not overdo things unnecessarily.

Seeing Midwife in a weeks time

Hapi - we have a wooden cot, that we will put in her room, she will sleep there during the day, and then we have a campcot that I put up in our room for the first 4 months, she will slepp there in the evenings, and then we are going somewhere we just pack up the camp cot. I must say that we got both these as presents.

It depends if you want to use the campcots in there room as well. William used his wooden cot until he was nearly 2 years old, so they use it for a long time.

Woke up feeling rather excited and really anxious to meet the girls. August feels so far though. Anyone experiencing this ??

Anyway,was walking around the mall on Saturday trying to look for maternity wear and nothing was appealing. Picked up two jersey dresses from woolies.

Also want to start working on the girls room. What is your preferance re the cot - Camp Cot or the wooden Cot (not sure what it is called) DH says we should opt for a Camp Cot as you can fold it and it will make things easier for when we travel.

Glad to hear everyone is doing well !! and a belated welcome to Sunette, sorry i was off for 3 days.

Lovely name Tacey. My DF has not quite settled on the name i chose, so it's still in the air. I like the name Clinton, but he said we will see maybe because it's a boy and he was planning on naming him.

Hapi, do you know the sex of the twins yet or are you keeping it a surprise ?

So is anyone doing anything exciting or something different this weekend ?
