Hip pain

I had the same unbearable pain - could not get out of bed some days!! I went for physio and it did wonders for me!!!

Laura, I also had hassles with hip pain in my second pregnancy. If in any doubt as to what it might be just mention it to you gynae next time you see them.

With this pregnancy I seem to be afflicted with sore knees which are really starting to drive me insane, fortunately I don't have much longer to go before my little one makes an appearance.

I also had this during pregnancy- look up sacro-iliac joint pain and see if it matches your symptoms. Apparently it is quite common. I tried a few sessions of physio but it didn't help much. What did help was sleeping on my side with a pillow between my knees and also those microwave heat packs applied on the painful area.

The pain disappeared by the late second trimester.

Laura if you have had hip hassles and don't remember having this, please mention it to your gynae as they should maybe check them out. Maybe you need some physio. x

I was born with dislocated hips and have had many surgeries over the years so was hoping it wasnt that!

Meags - it is a very deep bone pain!

I dont remember this pain with my other two at all!

yip...it's painful and annoying! Mine is more the back part of my pelvis. like deep bone pain

Laura - I had bad pains until I upped my calcium and magnesium with a seperate supplement from my normal preggy vitamins, maybe try that too? but kinda got used to the pains now
