URGENT - WATERS LEAKING

Hello All! Sjoe I don't get time to post on Moomie. Things are a bit crazy. But just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all my Moomie friends for your messages here and on FB and those who sent me sms's. While I was in hospital I logged in from my phone reading your message, crying my little heart out he he! But it did take some of the pain away.

The whole experience was quite daunting. When my waters broke at the office, I didn't really think it was serious. Was very calm, I kept giggling all the way to hospital. I drove from Centurion with our tea lady who came with. She was panicking, so she pulled over a cop car on the way there and they then escorted us to hospital, one of them driving my car. Gosh, I thought I was gonna die - I eventually closed my eyes as the ride was quite scary! Got to hospital, and then they admitted me! I thought I would get sent home. Shame poor hubby was running around like mad. Then gynie came next morning - I was having contractions, and they kept asking me whether I was in pain, but I wasn't - I just closed my eyes when the contractions came thinking of blue ribbons and flowers - he he from the hypno birth book! And seriously there was no pain, but gynae showed me contractions on the monitor and said they are strong and I wasn't dilating. Then he wanted to do c-section and I said no ways, we have to wait. I had no more water left. He said he would be back at 11h00, I must get hubby to come so we can decide. 11h00 he came and 12h00 I was in theatre - will post birth story later.

Herewith some pics of my little man. He is still in NICU - doing well.

SH, Callum is going well. just in nursery to gain weight and learn how to suck better.

I don't have Joli on FB....what is news with her and baby??

Just saw Joli on facebook holding baby for first time and they both look amazing - he is BIG and gorgeous looking with tons of hair!
