19weeks 4days pregnant and about to lose my job!

I am doing sales, so now they say I am getting warnings because I did not reach sales targets, but I do not have or know of any paperwork that I signed stating the amount of sales to be reach I only have a commission sheet on my contract!

i am not very clued when it come to labour but i know that you must get:1x verbal warning,1 writen and then final writen warning before you can get fired.

i was in a hearing as witness last year and there is a process to follow ,if it is not done ccma can assist you.

do you know why he wants to fire you, is it a legit reason? If there is any inkling that is because you are pregnant then there is recourse.
But unfortunately Ankia is right, you are only allowed to claim for either maternity benefits or unemployment.

He can not fire you just because, yoiu can take him to the CCMA and get money out of the deal
You can claim UIF when you unemployed, but you can not claim for Maternity and unemployment in one year.

I am 19weeks and 4days pregnant, and I think my boss is about to fire me within the next 2weeks!

I just want to know if this happens can I claim maternity bebifits from uif and if so when can I start claiming!

This is really very touchy and upsetting topic, as I don't know how we will be able to pay the bills and support the baby if I lose my job!
