Kaylae my girl was also 2 weeks behind at about 34 weeks.
Doc said that anything over 3 weeks is considered growth retardation and they will do what is best for baby in this case which is usually to deliver early.
They would also have to do a scan and look at whether your placenta is maturing early and whether there is enough amniotic fluid to go on.

Babies also go through slumps and spurts. K never slowed beyond 2 weeks behind, she just stayed at that mark.

Prepare yourself for a smaller baby. K was born at 38w3d by c/sec and was 2.83 at birth, she shouldve been around 3.2

Thank you ladies;

I went to dr yesterday and he found that I was suffering from gaestro acid and gave me medication.He checked the baby which he found out that her growth has slowed down as she weighs 2 weeks behind.I do not really know what to do or how to feel.Baby is playing well and all her functions are functioning well yet dr said he will speak to my gynae who is in PLK to fax him my results of the blood tests that he had taken.

Love, please go to Dr or ER, I had gastro with Em at 31 weeks and it put me into early labour. Rather be safe than sorry.

If it were me, I would make an appointment with a GP or go directly to an emergency room.
Any cramps and dehydration can be cause for big problems so I would rather they monitor me overnight.

hi kaylee,

if it were me and i was 29 wks pregnant i would not take a chance. i got diahrea / vomitting while i was pregnant and they actually admitted me in order to monitor baby and get all back to how it was supposed to be. ( put me on drip,make sure you dont get dehydrated) all though i was not as far as you.. i think i was about 16weeks. i know that a bladder infection can send you into premature labour as it did with me at 32 weeks not sure of diarhea- maybe just get checked.

rather be safe than sorry.
