Lokos, if you want you can join us on the TTC May - year of the ball, year of the bump thread. All the ladies there are trying to get pregnant so everyone is relatively clued-up regarding TTC issues.

Lokos - the symptoms you are having could very well be ovulatin sysmptoms. Some sites have an ovulation predictor where you can put your cycle date and then it gives you an estimated date.

Good luck with ttc -God Bless you too!

I know! Very confusing indeed. So when the eggie is happily being released and the troops are hopefully making their way to the eggie - one is (according to the docs) already 2 weeks pregnant.

Luckily it is not Monday morning - hehe.

Just a point to make.

How far along is confusing because even though you are technically pregnant from ovulation only, doctors calculate pregnancy from the first day of your period becuase that is when your egg started to form.

Hi Lokos

That would mean you are only on CD14 today. Women with a cycle of 28 days usually only ovulate around CD14, although it is possible to ovulate a bit earlier or later.

So if you are pregnant (because you maybe ovulated a day or two earlier, and had sex close to the time), you will only be 1-2 days pregnant. Otherwise you are maybe only ovulating today or tomorrow, thus not pregnant yet.

When you ovulate (once a month) the egg is only viable for about 12 hours or so, so really 'n small window of opportunity.

So to answer your question, it is very highly unlikely that you are experiencing any pregnancy symptoms at all. If the eggie has been fertilised, it is still busy making it's way down the fallopian tubes to the uterus where implantation can take place 6-12 days after ovulation.

You are probably experiencing ovulation cramps and pains. If you feel ill, you should maybe see a doctor.

Hope this helps!
