Best pram to buy

I have the peg switch and LOVE it! So cool to be able to face both ways, lighter than the graco and very tough and hardy. Downside is it's quite bulky for travel after the infant seat stage. We use a Maclaran daytripper when we travel long distances or fly.

We have the Loola and love it. Its very easy to open and close, closes compactly, I can push it one-handed, the car seat is easy to carry although we don't take it out of the car. The only 'issue' I have is that the pram does not lie 100% flat. However, they are little for such a short period and our little one napped fine in it when she was little. It easily fits a toddler in the pram and I like that it can face in or out. The car seat clips into the pram chassis (you take out the stroller seat and clip in the car seat.) Baby can face in or out and folds up either way.

I do not like any of the big Graco etc prams because I find them very bulky and difficult to get into smaller cars.

I have previously used a Maclaren twin and it was also marvelous to use, even with a newborn, so I would assume that the single Maclarens are also as user friendly, I just don't think you get a car seat that clips into the stroller.

I have also used a Peg and as it is umbrella fold it is compact. Easy to fold up and not that heavy. Again, I never carried the babies in the car seat on a regular basis. I found it very sturdy and hard wearing. You can get the Pramette version which lies totally flat and I think can face towards you for when baby is younger.

If I were you I would 'test drive' all the prams you can. Walk them around the shop, put a 5kg 'something' in the car seat and lift it and see if you can walk easily, fold and unfold prams etc. Its the only way

Im shopping for a travel system & have noooo idea which one to get

Saw the peg switch this weekend & am loving it but am not sure about it, heard it is heavy & the car seat is bulky & that you cant push it with 1 hand....

Also looking at the chelino....

Please help, am looking for something that is lightweight, & easy to handle but looks good none the less.

Also I want a car seat that is not too heavy to carry baby around in it
