M2b it will be hard but as always you find the strength to break through every trial. This will be a joyful trial with tears and hardwork but will pay off at the end. You have alot more strength to deal with the situation than you think.

Hi mom2b... I am in the same boat as you almost....

My little boy is 13 months old now, and I've only just found out that I am pregnant...only thing is, I am already almost 24 weeks along.... I've created my own thread .. called "Im officially THAT girl"... you can read it there for my whole story!!

sorry for the other ladies in your dept, forget about them and Anina is right - you have not messed up any1's plans.

Life is life and it just happens.

We are happy for you, and as someone told me after I got a shock with the twins... you will cope beautifully - yes there will be challanges but we have been blessed in the most extraodinary way.

Hi mom2b, you haven't messed up anyone's plans!!! You must forget about social pressure like that, you didn't plan this, but you can embrace it!!!

Enjoy the scan, come and tell us how it was, how many weeks will you be at your scan?

You can claim UIF again for pregnancy, but not for other things. Its only with pregnancy that you can claim again within a short period of time. So you will be fine.

Get to 12 weeks before you tell your boss, that way you have time to make piece with it and start feeling excited about it. So you will be in a better frame of mind when you tell your boss. Don't stress about it, he can't do anything lawfull to "out" you. If he wants to flipp, let him do it on his own time and just walk away. You can even tell him that you don't want negative energy around you if he gets angry and then just turn around and walk away.

I've made an appt wit doc for friday, how soon will they be able to see anything on the scan? I was 8 weeks @ my first scan for my 1st baby....

Also, do u ladies know about uif, will I be able to claim again so soon?

I'm terrified to tell my employer that I'm preg again,they gna have a fit... I work in a dept full of ladies and 2 of them are planning to fall preg now I prob really messed up their plans

I dont know much about UIF etc, but I know that it is your life, and it happened. You are not there messing up other peoples lives, if they want to get pregnant, they must do what is good for them, and they must deal with the boss etc...dont put all these extra worries on you. You must rest, and be at peace, for baba's sake....
