Anyone used Baby Furniture Direct?

Purchasing furniture for the baby nursery is a very big project for all parents. It is also hard for me but i have purchased all baby furniture through baby-direct online store and you can also buy through this store.

Apart from these stores, online shops have also become a popular choice for purchasing baby furniture. The latest models and styles can easily be viewed by clicking on images posted on the Web. Moreover, what makes online shopping for baby furniture more appealing is that the purchases can be delivered right at the doorstep of the consumer for free.

Vix I actually sent the lady an email saying that I found complaints about them on Hellopeter regarding their delivery and that I WILL be there on 14 May to come and collect my cot and compactum seeing that their delivery policy is up to sh*t and if I don't hear back from them I'll be there at 08h00. The lady actually phoned me now after that email and apologised and said she's so sorry and they did better their delivery policy now and the goods will be ready by 14 May for me to collect - gmf they respond to bitchy emails but not nice emails requesting delivery dates LOL

Actually did the same with Fedhealth - I was promised a baby bag by end of March and I'm still waiting, each time it's in two weeks and that was two months ago...so I complaint on Hellopeter (such a complaint slut I know....but hey I'm pregnant - raging hormones!!). Now they're delivering my bag at home via courier tomorrow!! Whoohoo!

Laliek- Im not sure which company ChanM used but she also had to wait longer for her furniture than promised.

Do you have a physical address so i can go down and take SABC2's Speak Out with me and interrogate them? LOL no just kidding but seriously don't you have a physical address so you can 'pop' along and just check them out?

I'm posting this thread just to see if anyone has the same problem I have.

Have any of you ordered from Baby Furniture Direct when you bought your nursery furniture? Did they deliver on time or did you have issues?

I ordered mine 10 weeks ago (promised delivery time 8 weeks - 10 weeks), but haven't heard anything from them yet and the lady that works there is not getting back to me on emails or phone calls.

Anyone had a good or bad experience with them? I'm getting anxious now, want my nursery furniture so I can finish my room!!!
