OMW Des!!! What an amazing story! So, less than 20 weeks to go! WOW! What a short pregnancy!(the part u were aware of). Maybe it was for the best. Maybe because of what you've been through, you would have panicked and stressed a lot during the early weeks of your pregnancy, and now the most risky part is long gone!

OMW!!! To feel kicks as your first sign that u are preggy! WOW! I still sometimes have funny weird movements in my tummy, and have put it down to gas or something (sorry for TMI  ) but a few weeks/months after I'd had my baby, I first thought I was preggy again and got SOOOOOO scared!!! (it was not logical though becos even if I was, it wudnt have been so far along that the baby would be moving  )

Enjoy your little angel who you'll get to meet sooner than ever expected!!!

WOW!!! I think its stunning! How exciting!!! Enjoy what is left of your pregnancy.

I have a 16 month age gap (also not planned) and its great. Hard work, but great. Its so nice to see how Stefan is starting to play with his little sister, he loves her to bits and is always kissing her (thats when he is not trying to ride her like a horse...) Her little face lights up wherever her brother enters the room. And she is developing much faster than he was and I think its because of all the stimulation that she gets form interacting with him.

I must say I would also have been a little surprized if I found out that I had a kicking baby in my tummy!! And I have wondered many times how that happens, but my story is not that much different.

I had one period (was breastfeeding) and then nothing for a while, then one again and I stopped breastfeeding but then my periods didn't start again. So one day, I looked at the box of tampons I had bought after my last period and realised that it had been quite a while since I had bought them. Although I knew that I couldn't really be preggies, and that my body was propably just still flooded with hormones from breastfeeding. I decided to take a test just to be sure. And sure as hell, I was pregnant!! I was about 9 weeks along.

So I can defnitly understand why you didn't realize it sooner!! If it hadn't been for that box of tampons (and I applied for a job in dark Africa and that set of the idea to test and be sure) i wouldn't have known till I felt baby kicking.

Enjoy!! And like I said to mom2b, buy a twin pram!!
