How long were you in labour?

11 hours 25 minutes.

I had a bloody show at 2am 29 October, went back to sleep until 5 am, timed contractions at 7 am we left for the hospital ( contractions about 5 mintues apart , arrived at 8 am, I was already 6 cm dilated.

started to push at 12H45 and my little girl was born at 13H25 Friday 29 October

I would say only the last 4 hours were a bit tough, once I had the urge to push all pressure/ pain was gone

23 Hours - went for induction at 07:00 in the morning, went into labour at 16:00 the afternoon and gave normal birth to my hansome boy the next day 13:00 the afternoon.

Yes, it was hell, but I will do it again...when the time is right

2hours 35minutes. I started having pains at 7am (at 1st I just thought I had an upset tummy) Tried soaking in a hot bath, it didnt help.... Realised this must be IT, started giving hubby instructions on getting the final things in my bag and went to have a shower. Didn't finish the shower as the pains was becoming just too sore.

Got in the car and left for hospital at about 9am, arrived in the maternity ward at about 9:10 and got checked by the sister, was 6cm dialated. Was hooked up to a monitor and got gas&air for pain relief. The doc was phoned. After what felt like hours the sister said I must tell them when I feel the urge to push. I realised I was feeling it already so they said I could start pushing, one of them remarked that if it wasn't my 1st the baby would've been there already. The doc arrived and gave me a small cut and a push later my LG was born at 9:35am.

I am hoping for this birth to be so quick & easy too....

I woke up the Monday morning at about 2 am to go to the loo and when I went back to bed I felt an almost bladder infection type pain. Went on like this every now and then and eventually got stronger and closer together. Went to the hospital at 5 pm as my contractions were 5 min apart and I had been leaking waters. I was 2 cm dilated when I got there. Baby was born at 01:26 am on the Tuesday morning.

20 hours but it felt like 20 days. I really thought i was going to die!!!!

It was 29 HOURS shuuuuuuuu

I am just glad I wont have to go through that again!
