file Still undecided - what pram is your favourite ????

Mandy - thanks for starting this thread, I'm also trying to decide on a pram! :)

The Peg seems to be a favorite. Has anyone used the Aprica or Britax models? (I'm not sure if they're available in SA).

For those who love their pram, can you comment on which features are the most useful? From what I've read, I think the features we are looking at are:

a) light
b) compact
c) easy to fold/unfold
d) easy to maneuver
e) some kind of sun cover
f) a travel system/compatible with a car seat (for infant use) - which snaps in securely
g) storage space at the bottom and/or a storage pocket on the top
h) shock absorbers/suspension (which my dh would like)
i) maybe a reversible handle so baby can face you or face out?

Can anyone tell me if there are other features that they love on their pram?

Mandy I have the peg perego. It is awesome. I am actually going to sell it now. Great travel system (although the carseat is really heavy). The pram itself is light, easy to fold and fits in small boots. It also has a step for sibling to stand on.

It really is such a nice pram!!!

I Love our Peg Perago Pliko. It has lasted almost 4 years now.
I have never packed it away between having my girls. Hannah used it up until Amelia was born.

It works well for newborns because of the travel system (the carseat that clicks onto the pram) and its lovely to use as a stroller as they get older. Its also very compact and light to fold and store in your car boot.

Oh and another great thing about this pram, and I've discovered those after the 4 years of use, is that the safety harness/buckles allow the baby to freely move around and lean forward etc.
:) I should be a Peg Perego sales rep :)

Love my peg perego switch! Bit bulky for longer distance travel but the best for out and about. Maclaran great for travelling.
