Baby Shaundre was born on Friday weighing a healthy 3.4kg.
She did end up having a c section. After being discharged from hospital, she went in every day to be put on the heart monitor to make sure everything is fine. Wednesday his heart rate was low but not too low to be concerned. Still had light contractions. I went with her to her last appointment on Thurdays afternoon. She asked her gynie to have an induction on Friday and she agreed. We filled out all the forms and she had her last scan. When the doctor looked at the screen, she told my sister this baby has turned once again and will not be able to be born naturally but she will have to have a c section. Baby was now breech. She just started crying as she was so nervous and didnt expect that at all.

Doctor told her if she has had a normal delivery before, we could have tried but she didnt want to risk it.

Was booked in for the night and Friday 07:58, he was born. He had to be suctioned but is perfect. The cutest little thing.

She is now only praising a c section as she says it was amazing, she didnt have pain and was walking on Friday night already. She is mobile and walks around as if it was normal, hasnt taken pain meds and has a beautiful cut. There has been minimal bleeding and she has already taken the plasters off.

She will be going home in the morning but he will stay for another day or so as he has jaundice.

I'm glad she decided to wait it out seeing that the induction would likely fail if baby is to high. Its so interesting about the twin feeling the surges, they must be very close. You should tell the twin sister to relax and send good positive vibes about each twinge, if they are so connected, it would mean the world to the expecting sister.

She was discharged late yesterday afternoon and has decided to wait it out until its time. She is really trying to avoid a c section so will sit with the pains. Has to go for a follow up appointment on Thursday.

Strange thing is, she is a twin and whenever she gets those light contractions, her twin sister gets a pain in her tummy. I was sitting with her yesterday and when they put the heart monitor on, I was chatting to my other sister on bbm and as I saw on the screen there is movement or something, my sister would ask me on bbm, did anything happen now as she just felt something. Very very weird. They are identical twins though
