i have no advice for you in tying of tubes, but id like to ask you why don't you send DH for a Snip?

i just need some info from those who have tied their tubes.

a bit of background :i have 5 month old twin girls and after theit birth i was admitted to icu for 10 days with peri partum cardio myopathy (pregnancy induced heart failure).

long story short, my cardiologist and gynae advised against further pregnancies as there is a greater chance that the condition will re-occur with another pregnancy. its not a definite but the chances are very very high.

dh and i had never wanted more than 2 children, so we are really happy and content with our family structure and have decided that we will not take a chance by trying to fall pregnant again. so we are done having kids.

im currently on the nuresterate(sp) injection but have been thinking that maybe i should just have my tubes tied. dh is fully supportive of whatever i decide.

i just need to hear your experiences with the procedure - recovery time, pain management etc
