Amen Nef!! You don't need a brain to give birth!! It just gets in the way of tapping into your primitive self!! :silly:

LOL - so I am I!

I was a research scientist for years in pharmaceutical development and have a Masters in Biochemistry.

I only turned to HypnoBirthing out of desparation to avoid another traumatic birth experience and ended up having a phenomenal birth that quite literally changed my life. I went on to be a teacher of it.

I have taught engineers, doctors, lawyers, chiropractors, a rabbi - you name it! If you are able to relax you are able to use hypnosis - its a state we go in and out of naturally many times a day!

Thanks everyone for your kind responses.
Ive spent a fair amount of time this weekend following all the tips about head down, legs up, swimming etc... dont feel a turn yet, but generally Im a bit more positive now.
Nefertiti, thanks for your offer. Im a scientist by profession.. ruled by the rational and, so would probably struggle to let go of conciousness that Im sure hypnosis requires. That said, I'll see how my end of month scan goes and then reassess.
Thanks again for everyone's input. :)

Hi,

My baby was also breech, until around 33-35 weeks. I also used the tips from spinningbabies.com - such as laying inclined with hips higher than my head and crawling on all fours ( detailed instructions are on the website)

I was also so worried about a c-sec, but by36- 37 weeks Paige turned into the perfect position and we had the natural birth we wanted.

I also did hypnobirthing and Nef gave me a breech turn script, which my husband did with me a few times, so if baby doesn't turn, get in touch with nefertiti...

Good luck and don't stress too much!

33 weeks to still be breech is really fine - HONESTLY!

If they are still head down by 35 weeks then you need to actively start trying to turn them.

In the mean time be conscious of your posture and as suggested already go to the spinning babies site for tips.

If your baby has not turned by next week contact me, I have turned 5 breech babies now using hypnosis (one was at 37 weeks) and I can record a CD for you, or if you are in CPT do a one-off sessin for you to turn your baby
