37 weeks pregnant and frustrated

very few babies are 'ready' by 37 weeks. there are very important changes that still need evolving with their little lungs & if you were to 'push ít at this stage you might end up with a baby with breathing difficulties.
Mother nature knows what she's doing - rather pray for patience.

I agree with Ilse - you have waited this long, hold out for just a little bit longer. Your baby will come when the time is right, and these last weeks are crucial for their development. Early babies tend to have more feeding problems. Drinking castor oil will just make you feel sick and it will give you diarrhoea. Rather enjoy this time - go to the movies, go out for supper, do your nails, put your feet up and pamper yourself!! There won't be as much time for you once baby arrives. Enjoy it, baby will come when he/she is ready.

You have waited 37 weeks, you can wait a little longer. Normal gestational time is 38-42 weeks.

Don't drink castor oil, do let your baby decide when the time is right.

You can walk more and have sex to try and speed up the process, but don't rush it.
