Gynae/OBGYN advise?

I used to go to Corlia van den Berg but she doesn't do deliveries anymore so I went to Dr Reinarda van Waart. She delivered my 3rd baby 6 weeks ago and she is brilliant! Very caring person and easy to talk to. I will be using her in future. She makes you feel very comfortable and listens to you. It was the best of all 3 of my births. i would totally recommend her. I went back yesterday to have the Mirena fitted and it was totally painless - i have friends who have not had such good experiences (usually with a male gynae).

Hi there, I was a pastient of Dr. L. White, but she moved to Stellenbosch, I'm pregnant 7wks and 4 days today and decided to go and see her replacement Dr. Reinarda van Waart in Durbanville, I was there yesterday for my first appointment and I think she is fantastic and I felt very comfortable with her. This is my first pregnancy.

Dr Van Waart is a fantastic gynae. She has a really great, warm personality and is very understanding. Have had no problems with her. Someone tried to make a claim of malpractice against her about ten years back, but courts found the claim to be invalid and the case was withdrawn.

Just for everyone's information - "Dr Miempie" is actually Dr Miempie Esterhuizen. She works with Dr Marie Pienaar. They are both great. At Panorama Hospital.

I actually did a search on dr van waart, and found a few articles where she was involved in some cases being investigated, which does not sound good.

I have decided to give dr truter a go, and have scheduled my check up for 2 weeks time. i have only heard good things about him thusfar, so will have to see what my experience is.

I really would have liked to go to Dr white, but at this point, i need to be close to work and home.
