Gynae/OBGYN advise?

Hi Ladies

I am currently pregnant and is a patient of Dr. White. I work in stellenbosch and will stay with her but need to decide if I will give birth at DMC again or at Stellenbosch.

I went to Dr Truter on one occassion and would highly recommend him. I do not know Dr. van Waart. All I know about her is that she is the sister of Johannes van Waart the fertility specialist at Stellenbosch Medi-Clinic.

My sister-in-law was a patient of Dr. Miempie at Panaroma and was very happy with her.

I was also a patient of Dr L White and absolutely LOVED her. My mother went to Dr van Waart twice, when she still practiced in Mossel Bay. She was not very happy with her.
I do not know the docter myself, but think her personality is completely different from Dr White's and would not think that someone who was comfortable with Dr White, would feel the same about Dr Reinarda van Waart.
She is apparently much more of an extrovert and not all people like that in a doctor.
But I am not saying that she is not good in what she does.

I am however going back to Dr White, eventhough she is in Stellenbosch.

I have heard that doctor Miempie as Panorama is also very good.

I prefer a lady doctor and therefore really need to do some research before moving to another doctor.

thanx ladies. my first 1 was born by C/s with dr rosselli's partner. i was not too happy, but had no choice. BP was high. not keen to go back there as i think it would be awkward. Dr Rosselli is very nice tho, as he came to check up on me while in the ward.
Few friends have suggested dr truter, and i have been hearing very good things abt him.

will look into corlia vd berg as well, not sure is she is still at DMC tho. just more convenient, but will go where the dr is, as that is very nb to me.

You could try Dr Corlia van der Berg. I used to go to her many years ago when I lived in Durbanville. She is my friends OB also and she was also very happy with her.

Yes Lizette White is moving away unfortunately.
I have not yet heard of the new gynae in her place.

My gynae was Dr Rosselli who practices at Durbanville Family Care Centre in Somerset Crescent. He also has rooms in Panorama and births at both DMC and Panorama MC.
I have been with him for 9 years now and very happy.
