medical aid that takes on already pregnant women?

Very sorry to say, but there is no private medical that takes you on when already pregnant. I do know that some like the government ma and I think Profmed, but you can only join when you work for government or have a 4y degree.

So sorry.... I know the feeling. I had to go to a government hospital because we were inbetween ma when I fell pregnant. And believe me, I contacted them all.

The only one i know is the governmenta medical aid that takes you when preggies I joined them on my second trimester and they paid for everything.

Someone once said something about a momentum one I might be wrong.

As far as I know there are no medical aids that will cover the pregancy and delivery if you join once pregnant. Some may consider it if you take the top option and are only 4 weeks pregnant, so speak to a broker but I am pretty sure they wont. It is however still worth joining so that baby is covered from the day it is born. If the baby were to be a premie it could be very costly.

Does anyone know of a medical aid that takes on pregnant women, I know most dont but I was hoping to find one that did. I know there could be a late joining fee or I'm even to sign a contract to not leave the medical aid after birth and continue for a certain number of years.

Its just so hard to fork out 50k in case of c section and so on. My husband is working but he just moved back here with me and his company is being such a douche about medical aid. They keep saying they're a small company still and are waiting for a merger that should be done by end of feb or so that they can put their staff on medical aid. also at the time when my husband was offered a job position they said that they'd discuss it later and when he joined them they are being such idiots. so I am hoping to pressure my husband into telling them to give him medical cuz if I go on through his company even while pregnant I'm covered but I'm just looking for plan B as well.
