Labour with your 1st - How long??

Hi Everyone,

Met with my midwife on Wednesday & she said because this is my first baby I should expect to be in labour for up to 24 hours... Am planning on having a natural, meds free water birth at home . That sounds seriously long!

I know labour, like pregnancy differs from person to person, but how long we're you in labour with your first born?
