I saw my gynae on Wednesday and baby is between 2.3 and 2.4kg's. Doctor said that at my c-section date (13th March) baby will be about 2.9kg's. Now I was really hoping for more than this. Until about a month ago baby was big for the gestation, and then in this last month seems to have slowed down. I have been very stressed and was in hospital for 4 nights last week just to rest

. But dr says the blood flow and placenta looks good so problems there.
My first daughter was born at 38 weeks weighing 2.94kgs (different dad). My second was born at 36 weeks weighing 2.87kg's (same dad and current Foetus) so I expected that if this baby made it to his/ her c-sec date baby would be over 3 kgs.
Both my girls had to stay an extra night in hospital as their sugars would not stabilise and I have a very cautious Paed. Having asked around it seems that this sugar problem was due to them being small.
I checked on google for foods to fatten the foetus and saw people recommend lots of protein and Ensure Shake. Does anyone else have any suggestions- if baby stays put I have 17 days to fatten him or her up.
