Sweep success?

Membrane sweeps are new to me too, hence the question... Cant remember being offered one with Ben.
But, hey, anything to speed this along.
For the past three weeks ive felt like a whale and pretty soon greenpeace is going to find me and try to throw me back into the sea!
Sigh.
I really expected to be early this time, which has made the waiting seem longer!

Afternoon everyone,
Just curious to know if anyone has had success going into labour following a membrane sweep? And if so, how long afterward did labour begin?

Im now 40+4 and had one yesterday at 10 am. In a way, Im quite thankful that nothing has happened quite yet as Im not too keen on the idea of a leap year baby, but was wondering that if labour hasnt happened with ~30 hours whether there was much chance of it working at all. Ive had a fair amount of bleeding and some braxton cramps, but thats it.

Am soooooo tired of being pregnant, and really didnt expect to go over! Hrmph
