Gynae in the Centurion and Pretoria Area

Dr pantazis at Pta east is also excellent, not sure if he is FS though. You can't go wrong Pretoria East!

I'm with Dr Trouw as my gyne, and he happens to be a FS. He is not very talkative but if you ask him a question he will answer you honestly. And according to the staff at Pta East, the best doctor. He gave me a chance for normal delivery after a previous C-section. My previous gyne said NO. And I was in labour for 16hours and he said if I want to I can go through the night, but I didn’t dilate at all in the 16 hours so he would recommend another C-Sec. And my baby was over 4kg. He is at the Pta East hospital.

I know of another FS at Kloof, and my friends are very happy with him. His name is Dr Hogewind and I only heard good things about him, and Kloof is closer to Centurion.

Hi Ladies,

Please can anyone recommend a good gynae in the Centurion/Pretoria area?
My current gynae is in Sandton but I am trying to find one closer to home. Would be an added bonus if the gynae is also a FS.

My gynae preference is usually female but I have noticed that most of the FS are male, so the female requirement has kind of gone out the window and is not such a big deal any longer.

Hubby and I have to seriously start "TTCing" and I just found out two days ago I have multiple fibroids.
