Such wonderful weather we having at the moment, hope it stays this way whole day. Yesterday was way too hot, and I was busy busy at work.

Punchy, sorry to hear that you in hospital. Do you know how long you will have to stay there? Do you think this would have been resolved earlier if your gynae actually did urine tests with every appointment? I would be so made at her. I hope you made it through the night without dstv...though at least you could watch something, we've been without a TV since last week Thursday. There's nothing in our flat except the bed and fridge.

Mosaneo, for your sake, I hope your baby stays put! What do you mean they won't pay you out if you give birth before the 01/12/2012? They won't contribute to your maternity leave AT ALL? And you will just have to rely on UIF? I heard UIF is very little, and the more you earn, the less you get, and that its capped at R4500? I know some hospitals assist mothers with claiming UIF, Mediclinic offers this service.

Momtoc, your lg sounds like she is getting more anxious and difficult the closer you get to your due date. Did she at least enjoy her birthday present? I'm glad your sister is better!

AFM I had my first dream about my baby last night. It was so sweet, I dreamed I was a pro at being a mom, and breastfeeding was no problem. Also that the giving birth part was pain free. I hope this dream turns into reality cos I'm getting really scared and haven't prepared myself at all!

Where is Marijke? do you think she has delivered as well? some of these ladies are abadoning us

Thank you so much for your support, i really think we could scare him if yall came here, lol. I have found out that if my baby comes in November i will not get paid, even if it is three days or five days before the 1/12/2012 i will not get paid because my one year service is on the 01/12/2012 so i am praying hard that baby stays put. But for those that know the process of claiming UIF will you please assist me.

Momtoc just be patient with you LG, let her go crazy, lol, my son is the same and they are just seeking our attention. Yesterday he was crying wanting us to assemble the pram that we bought for baby but i cant until daddy comes this side because i am scared i might not do certain things right or screw on the wheels tight. I let him cry, kept brushing his back, we lied on the bed, then i was tickling him and for an hour we just lay there and i saw that all he wants is attention cause he sees now that a new person is coming and he wont be the only child now. At least you sis can eat now, soon she will be back at work and be able to relieve you off some work so you can take it easy.

Mandri you are only left with two days now then you will be home, i am jealous. I will be here until 30/11/2012. Work is killing all of us, Babyzee do you think you will really make it to December?

They gave me x2 antibiotics, drip nd injection, paracetamol drip as well.
I am on a drip right now as we speak
You so right momtoc. Punchy wants to come out early why I don't know, guess its the infection on the kidney. The last time he was lying on top of my right bladder vien, but wasn't admitted. They gave me antibiotics and sent me home.
Gyni says I got stress because I even have herpes. Guess what
She took a sample of my urine.....hapiiiii finally.
Took some bloods. Lets hope all is well coz lb is ok but just pushing down.
I'm never going to give birth normally. Lb is too big for normal birth. Right now I just want to relax and sleep and think about nothing.


There's only sabc 123 and Etv. It's goings be a long night tonight

Mandri, lol - I think that's a brilliant idea. Can you imagine that man's face if a bunch of preggie ladies were on his case!!!!!!!

babyzee, we are definitely nearing the end now. These last few weeks are going to fly!

I saw a post punchy made on another thread. She is in the hospital - was admitted today. Looks like she has a kidney infection & some labour pains. I told her to come & update us here.

I went through a similar thing with my lg when I was 26 weeks pregnant. My lg was putting alot of pressure on my left kidney, which caused obstruction. Was put on 2 drips, one to make sure that I don't go into labour because I had so much pain but luckily I was in good hands.
She might have a kidney stone or baby might even be pressing on the kidneys. I did ask her if they did a sonar yet so that she can have clarity on what's happening.

AFM, I have so much work here because I work with both my sisters & the other one is still booked off from her stomach surgery. She had to stay an extra 2 days due to infection & fever but was discharged on sunday. She is doing better now. I felt so sorry for her cause she was only allowed to eat last week friday!!!!!
It's my lg's 5th birthday today. We bought her a new bike We tried to have a relaxing morning & avoid fighting but that was wishful thinking. She can't decide on clothes & will waste 30 mins. I don't know what to do with her anymore......

Lol Mandri wouldn't that be something, we can visit one lunch time and cast him evil looks
