Hi Darian

I also had verly light spotting in the very early stages 7wks and went straight to the dr who did a scan and was very happy everything went well ( i was paranoid as it was the 1st sign of my blighted ovum last year)

Then it stopped and on 23 Jan i stood up from the couch and the blood streamed down my legs and there was clots i was 8weeks i was rushed to hospital and the one doctor even told me it was a mc but i was admitted for my gynea to examine me the next morning.

he did an ultra sound and everything was perfect with a strong heartbeat!!!

At the moment im 28 weeks pg and everything is going great.

Good luck just try to calm and rest as much a possible i had to lie on my back for 2 weeks legs in the air.

Take care

I had spotting from about just before my BFP until about 16 weeks.

It was dark and I needed a liner.

Since I'd had a previous miscarriage I was paranoid. My doc did a scan and tested my HCG 48 hours apart and my progesterone. She put me on a course of progesterone - it didn't stop the spotting but it made me feel like at least I was doing something.

My LG is due next month and I have had a hassle free pregnancy since then.

Try not to stress but do phone your doc and let him/her know what's happening.

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I have also spotted on and off. My gynae said some women do and to try not to worry. I went in each time for a scan to check it. As far as I understand, of you gave only light spotting that stops it is unlikely to be a miscarriage.

If you are worried get a scan of do bloods 48h apart.

Hi Darian

Congrats on the pregnancy.

I had some spotting at 6 weeks and some heavier bleeding again at 9 weeks (and then again a little spotting at around 27 weeks).

It can be normal, some people spot throughout their pregnancies. I don't think you should panic but you should definitely let your doctor know. Monitor it and if it turns into bleeding you should call your doctor immediately.

As it is, even if you do start bleeding heavily there generally isn't anything they can do in the early stages. They usually just do a scan to check that the baby has a strong heartbeat.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Good day all. I'm 10w5days pregnant. This morning when I went to the bathroom and I wiped thr was light pink spotting on the toilet paper. I'm so freaked out at this moment. What can I do and is it normal. Thrs nothing now and its completely clean now again. It didn't even spot on my pantie only when I wiped I saw the stain. Do I need to worry?
