Hi there Ladies

For those of you in Gauteng, the Mommy-to-be and Me shop is closing down :S :S And they are having a closing down sale. Got some awesome casual and work tops to btw R20 and R50, as well as formal capri pants - ideal for work - for R50 too...

Worth your while making the trip to the shop!

Thanks for the warning Robyn. I'm always very careful when I buy online. I think it's because I worked in a bank & got to see how people got scammed & was made very aware of what was going on on the internet & e-mails

joybaby, I really don't know what is up with Edgars this time around. Those stretchy cotton tops are really nice & I like the babydoll styles as well.
Taking chances with online stores regarding sizes are my problem as well....I'm way too scared that the sizes are going to be wrong & then I have to sort it out in getting the right sizes.......I just hate it.

cherikey, wish I could work from home  but I work with my 2 sisters & we are a very small company, only 6 people so we can also basically just wear what we want! I luckily don't have to go buy professional, corporate wear. I just have to look decent at work....

Hi ladies

@momtoc: It will be well worth your time... the other retail shops in the mall are also so much bigger and stock alot more... I do agree with you - you are pregnant for such a short time, and only so many times in one's life that you wanna feel special and comfy during those times!

I love those pants too - they have them at Mommy to be! Those are the ones i bought 3 of for work, and then they have awesome cargo pants too. Thinking of going past there this weekend... will let you know what they have!

Hey Ladies

With my LG i only bought a few maternity specific tops as i'm not keen on maternity pants with that big band over your bump... find that quite uncomfy... i just wore my normal jeans with a hairband keeping the button attached to the hole.... obviously my tops were long enough to cover the gaping hole. Luckily i work from home so don't need work clothes...

Not sure what i'll do this time round as i'm only 11w5d and am already using the hairband...

Last time I did buy a lot of flattering tops such as babydoll style as someone else mentioned...

Good Luck!

Robyn did u post on Hello Peter?

What I find is a serious lack of smart work wear for pregnancy? Edgars always had that available but I've seen none of it this year thats really suitable unless you go to a boutique which not everyone can afford!

Our babies are due in Spring. I plan on just getting stretchy cotton tops, maybe the babydoll types they are quite cosy over the tummies, and then a few nice dresses.
Those pants you showed are super comfy! I got a few from a friend and theyre so nice. Only problem is they sit just above my ankles so I dont really go out in them, more for home wear :)

I cannot chance online stores as sizes are sooo different wherever you go!

First angel resting 25/06/2009 stayed with us a short 7 weeks but we still miss you.
