Hi Chandre

You can only submit your claim once you start your maternity leave. They say it takes 6-8 weeks to process the application but all depends on time of year (December creates a backlog).
Make sure all your forms are submitted correctly so that you dont end up being delayed by having to correct forms after the fact, as much harder once baby is here.
And submit asap once you go on leave so you start getting your money before you go back to work.

First angel resting 25/06/2009 stayed with us a short 7 weeks but we still miss you.

Robyn - I also used her in 2010 and had the same experience. Just could not get hold of her for weeks!!! Eventually I just called the UIF Department myself and they were VERY helpful in tracking down where my application was. Turned out she had handed it in, so not sure why she was avoiding all contact. FRom there on, I just followed up with them directly. I suggest you do the same - they should be able to tell you whether it was handed in or not.

Good luck.

UIF Claim in Cpt was created by Robyn_C
I used Vanessa Galvin of Tums 2 Mums in 2010 and was very happy with her service, so I decided to use her again this year, but now trading as UIF Partners

Unfortunately I am just one of many people she has ripped off-it is impossible to get hold of her by phone or email so I don't even know if she has sent my forms to uif and I have no idea what to do or where to go now

If anyone has done their own uif claims in Cpt, pls let me know what I need to do!!!
