I don't know if they still do or even if they still exist but there was a medical aid called Tellemed...they use to cover everything but their condition was that you had to remain a member with them for a year after the birth of the child and register the child on your medical aid.

hello there, i doubt if there is. they are all have 12months waiting period for pregnancies, so i will say start saving if you want her to go to private hospital.

Hi All (This is my first post)

I noticed quite a few posts regarding medical aid after faliing pregnant my wife is currently 6 weeks although it was unexpected and we need to plan accordingly now I started discovery at the beginning of this month but they would unfortunately not cover the birth due to a waiting period

Does anyone know perhaps who I can contact for this

Basically if it means just a hospital plan as well to cover the birth that would be excellent
