help with Gynae in Durban Upper Highway area

I have had so many bad experiences at Crompton (not in maternity ward tho) so I am so scared, I have also heard dreadful stories. but I think I should have a tour to eaze my mind. We are only going to start trying in June so I have some time, he he but its all I can think about.

If you dont mind me asking, why don't you want to have your baby at Crompton?

I know the head midwife there, Ronel, personally and I can put you in touch with her if you like? I had my baby last year at Nu Shifa Hospital because of financial reasons, but I did my antenatal class and hospital tour at Crompton and I was blown away. Their birthing suites are first class- jacuzzi for a water birth, tv and mini-hifi and comfy recliner in each birth suite.

Dr Bassa is awesome, he was my first choice as well but he was so busy I couldn't get in to see him soon enough when I fell pregnant and ended going with my second choice, Dr Naseera Mahommed at Westville Hospital who is also awesome.

I have the most awesome gynae, Dr Bassa at Crompton Hospital. unfortunatley he doesnt deliver anywhere else and I really dont want to have a baby at crompton, so I thought I should look for a new one before we ttc. very sad because he knows my history about mc ect.

anyway Do any of you have some advice? hopefully in upper highway area? Westville? Hillcrest?
