file Anyone WTT in a few months?

I'm officially off all meds, including the pill :) I've been to the gynae, started Inofolic last week. I'm trying not to focus on falling pregnant & pressurising myself into charting cycles because we not in a hurry, but I can't help it. A huge part of me wants to fall pregnant immediately. And if I don't I'll be crushed :(

My fiance and I are going to start trying closer to the end of the year... we are going to get married first and save save save money until we start trying, then save some more.

I've been doing lots of research too in terms of medical aids and such so once we are fully prepared (or as prepared as we can be) we will start trying.

Hi Demi - First of all I’m happy that your doc found a treatment for you that helps, that’s great. Yay! now you can start planning to try conceive, its so exciting!

I am also on Duromine 30mg now. Needed a bit of a boost. It really does help suppress your appetite. This is my problem, Im always hungry. Let me know how you doing on them, if you do have side effects, give it a week you should get use to them.

Good Luck and keep us posted.

I'm also waiting until June. Hubby and I decided to wait 5 years before we have a baby. Its been 4 years so far. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with sever rheumatoid arthritis. I've tried many different drugs in the 1st year, nothing seemed to work. Last year my doctor started a new treatment on me and i'm finally seeing results. Since I've been ok for the past 3 months and I'd like to have a baby next year, the doctor agreed to wean me off the medication. So by June hopefully (fingers crossed) I will be completely free of medication and able to ttc.

I'd also like to lose weight. The arthritis drugs made my weight skyrocket. I've been eating really healthy for months now but see no real loss on the scale. My docotr has prescribed duromine which i started today. really hope it helps with my weight loss. I have 30kg to lose to get back to pre-hubby weight.

Hope the time flies, we all lose weight and be healthy and don't have to wait too long before we preggers :)

Cj, Wow, you have done well! In three weeks? That is pretty amazing. I like your eating plan, I am not one for fancy diets, common sense can go a long way. That is basically what I did, cut the crap out, avoid sugar as far as possible.

I conceived my first girl in the first month!! She is now 3 years and 7 months. We started TTC for the second one in January. So, we are now on our second cycle.

Here is the MOM2B eating plan, it is at the end of the first post (pdf file)

Hi CJ!

Well, we waited until this year because we went through a really bad patch in our marriage for about a year. We went for couples therapy (Imago therapy) for about 10 months. We are both comitted to the relationship but experienced total "deadlocks" in confrontation. We have learned so much and have much better skills now to deal with conflict. We are both really excited about a second child and feel much stronger as a couple.

And ... I wanted to loose some weight since I weighed 6 kilos more before my first girl was born. I have managed to loose 3 kilos so far and am happy with that. I am still eating healthy and doing exercise while TTC but not following a strict diet plan. I followed the Mom2B eating plan on this website. I totally loved it because it was very realistic. In fact it encouraged you to eat often, just the right food. I have moved away from regular snacking on unhealthy food and have the ocasional treat every now and again, but no more constant snacking on sweets, chips and cookies. My health has improved so much and don't regret changing my lifestyle. Ps: I LOVE food/baking/cooking and am not much of an exercise person, so I think it says a lot if someone likes me can change eating habits and choose to stick to it because of all the benifits I have experienced! You can do it too!!

Have you decided on a specific eating plan in mind?
