I have done it once with an agency and once myself.

The agency was helpful in answering all my questions, but was also evasive at times and not getting back to me very quickly which was frustrating.
I tried to use them again this time but just had a bad feeling (so many of them dont last) and did it myself eventually.
Your company can print all the documents you need, and just make sure you fill in all the forms correctly (fairly simple).
Find a UIF office that's not the most central busy one, and the longest I ever waited was 5 minutes.

If the agency was reliable and replied within 24-48hrs to emails I would have been fine with using them, but in the end it worked out okay for me.

First angel resting 25/06/2009 stayed with us a short 7 weeks but we still miss you.

Hi

I used an agency. Paid her R600 and she did everything. I was extremely impressed with her service. I was paid my full UIF amount before I returned to work and I only submitted everything after my daughter was born. She always kept me up to date with the staus of my claim and her calculations as to what I would recieve were almost perfect (only a couple of rand out)

Hi,

I was in the process of wanting to use someone too, but only to find out that you end up having to stand in the que at the labour department yourself anyway.

They only assist you with making sure that all the forms are correct and all the information correct.

So I have mixed feelings regarding this.

Hi

Has anyone used a company to assist them with their UIF claims (submitting the forms etc)? How was your experience?

If not would you use them or rather do it yourself?
