Is ACC 200 safe

I did use the Acc 200 for a few days as my doctor said it was ok to use, but since it didn't work for the sinus pain, i decided to stop using it.

The pharmacist gave me Pagasus Sinus 30c, it's homeopathic and states on the box, safe to use during pregnancy. This along with rincing my sinuses every evening eventually did ease the pain alot!!!

Acc 200 contains 200mg of an amino acid called n-acetyl cysteine. While n-acetyl cysteine has been safely used in pregnancy at dosage of 500mg and higher, it should only be used under the supervision of a medical practitioner where clearly indicated. Safety while breastfeeding has not been established - this is according to Solal which is a very well known nutraceutical (natural) company that does extensive research on the products they sell - hope this helps

Usually that is purely because no one will do trials on pregnant women. May doctors prescribe meds that say the same thing but that are totally fine to use.

I reckon that since it's safe to give to babies it is probably safe in pregnancy, but I don't have any scientific info to back that up.

Hi mommies/mommies 2b!

I'm 4 - 5 weeks pregnant and i'm suffering from very painfull sinuses. My doctor told me that I should take ACC 200 however the pharmasist told me that it isn't really safe.

Any advise?? Really can't stand this pain anymore please help!!!
