you just say no, both my showers were surprises and they managed to get me into a soccer shirt to go with their theme with the first one and the second one was at work so they just had fun wasting their make up and baby powdr on me

KadesMom - I think you just say NO! Get a close friend to do the planning of the baby shower and arrange fun things that does not include making a mockery of the mommy-to-be.

I didn't dress up for my babyshower I actually didnt even know people still did that

So no, I definitel dont think you being unfair. Tell her there are lots of other ways to have "fun"....

I have a question regarding a baby shower.

My baby shower is on the 22nd June, however, my MIL insists that i dress up again, i did with my first pregnancy and feel that it is not necessary the second time round? Am i being fair? How do i get out of "dressing" up other than saying no lol?

Any tips lol?
