hi ladies try this method it worked for me like magic hope it works for you too

1- Cut a medium-sized potato into thick slices.
2- Take one of the potato pieces and rub it gently on the stretch marks for a few minutes. Make sure the liquid from the potato covers the affected area.
3- Allow the potato juice to dry for some time and then wash it off with lukewarm water.

Thanks for advice.
Any concerns about ingredients in these products i.e. read that some oils are safe, some not.
All this info is confusing

Hi Mandeem,

I started using Bio oil all over my tummy, boobs and thighs as soon as i found out i was pregnant about 8/9 weeks. i did not get any stretch marks, except a few ones in my back side but they seem to be disappearing since i haven't stopped the bio oil as yet.

I'm not sure whether i was prone to stretch marks or not but i didn't want to take a chance and luckily it worked out.

Good luck and enjoy your pregnancy. MummyAbby is right though, keep yourself hydrated as much as possible and eat healthy.

You cannot prevent stretch marks. If you are prone to it, you will probably develop them.

Creams and such will ease the itch of your stretching tummy though. Best is to eat healthy, drink lots of water and exercise.

I used bio oil and cocoa butter since trying to conceive with my first and ended up with stretch marks all over my tummy. Second time round I did not bother and stuck to my usual creams. Good news is they do lighten afterwards :)
