Here in Pretoria I went to one when I was 5 weeks. She asked R1700 for the first visit and R1200 for the rest. ( I didn't like her)

So I found a dr I was working with long time ago. He ask me R600 for the first visit and now R350 for the rest. Including the scan and dvd. For 4d scan I have to go to Femina hospital. I think thats R1300. But I book my bed there, so that is included then.

Tanya my dr is R520 a visit and they charge 2 scans 12 and 20 weeks I think, I think the scans are R1200. But he does do a scan every time just charge for 2

I know pta much cheaper than jhb

I'm in Durban at one of the more expensive gyneas and my appointments are R975 for normal appointments and R1420 with a scan.

I was just wondering what everyone else in the JHB area are paying for their monthly gynae pregnancy checkups.

I have a feeling I am paying way too much
