I cannot guarantee that my memory is correct (being preggo at the time ) but I think the discount was somewhere in the R800 range.

If I remember from my first pregnancy (3 years ago), the contents of the discovery bag is like a lucky draw... people that got the bag within the same month got diff stuff...

I got my (2nd) bag end last year and I got the vouchers, blanket, baby & mom book, taglet, samples, nuk bottle & nuk dummy

A Baby Sense taglet - that's kinda neat.

Do you perhaps recall the discounted amount on the travel system?

Oh, and what did the bag look like? I previously received a navy blue backpack sort of thing with a logo on.

Good morning

I got the Discovery baby bag about 9 months ago. As far as I remember the bag contained some samples (bum cream, baby lotion, shampoo, breast pads etc), a Baby Sense taglet, a pregnancy and birth book (which I quite liked), a hard page picture/mirror book for baby, a baby magazine, a baby blanket and most importantly the vouchers. The vouchers were for discounts at Toys r Us / Babies R Us for a Peg Perego pram, nappies, high chair and car seat. We still use our nappy vouchers and our LG is now 7 months old.

A good place to start for a list is to ask the hospital where you will give birth for their list, assuming it will be a hospital birth. Some hospitals also gives you a baby pack, our hospital for example gave us a bag with nappies, bum cream surgical spirits etc, so there was no need to pack these items.
